Caroline Baker
Biography
Caroline joined the Sequoia Legal team in 2026. She advises small and mid‑size businesses, guiding them through all aspects of the business life cycle from formation to dissolution, with a focus on transactional matters including commercial deals, contract drafting and review, negotiations, and mergers and acquisitions. Caroline also counsels corporate clients on similar transactional and corporate governance issues. Outside the office, she enjoys running, skiing, and hiking with her husband and daughter. Caroline competed for Team USA at the 2019 50k World Championships, qualified for the 2020 US Olympic Marathon Trials, and has run several ultramarathons, including the Leadville 100 and Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc.

Work Experience
Caroline began her career as an associate at Bernstein Liebhard in New York City. Upon relocating to Colorado, she practiced as a litigation associate at Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara and Frascona Joiner Goodman & Greenstein, and served as second chair counsel on two five‑day jury trials in Denver and Boulder. Caroline also handled compliance work and led cross-functional implementation of regulatory updates at Qualia, a cloud-based SaaS platform for title and escrow.
Education and Awards
Caroline holds a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University and a J.D. with Honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
