Hunter is a graduate of the University of Colorado and University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
Hunter has been a part of the Sequoia Legal team since 2017.
Hunter serves as outside counsel to his clients in a broad range of industries. Hunter’s practice focuses on advising his clients on corporate, international trade, and healthcare compliance matters.
He serves as a trusted advisor to his corporate clients, guiding them through all aspects of the corporate life cycle from formation to commercial agreements to transactional matters including mergers and acquisitions. Hunter’s international practice focuses on compliance with U.S. international trade and anticorruption laws and regulations, including drafting and implementing export and anticorruption compliance policies, obtaining export licenses and analyzing and remediating potential violations including voluntary disclosures to relevant US agencies. His healthcare practice focuses on advising healthcare providers and practices regarding regulatory, compliance, and general corporate and commercial matters, including structuring transactions to be in compliance with the Anti-Kickback Statute and Stark Law. Hunter is admitted to practice in Colorado.

After graduating law school, Hunter worked as an associate at Schuchat International Law Firm. During law school, he interned for two Colorado District Court Judges and worked as a Student Honors Program Intern at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
